‘Get Up, Stand Up! The Bob Marley Musical’ tickets available through January 2023

Michael Duke takes over the role of Bob Marley.

After receiving four Olivier Award nominations earlier this month, Get Up, Stand Up! The Bob Marley Musical extends in the West End. The Bob Marley musical is now booking at the Lyric Theatre to 29 Jan. 2023, and Get Up, Stand Up! The Bob Marley Musical tickets are on sale now.

Get Up, Stand Up! The Bob Marley Musical is currently nominated for four Oliviers — Best New Musical, Best Actor in a Musical for Arinzé Kene, Best Actress in a Supporting Role in a Musical for Gabrielle Brooks and Best Original Score or New Orchestration for Orchestrator Simon Hale.

The musical follows the life of Bob Marley and how he became Jamaica’s international reggae superstar. Bob Marley's greatest hits are in the musical, such as “No Woman No Cry, “Exodus” and “Could You Be Loved.”

Michael Duke now takes over the role of Bob Marley from Arinzé Kene. Duke’s West End credits include The Inheritance, Thriller Live and The Rat Pack Live! David Albury serves as the alternate Bob Marley.

The cast is completed by Gabrielle Brooks as Rita Marley, Shanay Holmes as Cindy Breakspeare, Sophia Mackay as Judy Mowatt, Melissa Brown-Taylor as Marcia Griffiths, Jacade Simpson as Bunny Wailer, Natey Jones as Peter Tosh, Daniel Bailey, Craig Blake, Charles Blyth, Luke Buck, Maxwell Cole, Athena Collins, Viquichele Cross, Kimmy Edwards, Raphael Estavia, Henry Faber, Cannon Hay, Llewellyn Jamal, Savanna Jeffrey, Kieran McGinn, Rohan Pinnock-Hamilton, Cleopatra Rey, Julene Robinson, Lawrence Rowe, Nate Simpson, Amarra Smith, Archie Smith, Declan Spaine, Jaime Tait, Teddy Wills.

Clint Dyer directs Get Up, Stand Up! The Bob Marley Musical which features an original story by Lee Hall. The creative team includes design by Chloe Lamford, costume design by Lisa Duncan, lighting design by Charles Balfour, sound design by Tony Gayle, and choreography by Shelley Maxwell.
