Hannah Dodd and Rob Madge to star in 'Cabaret' in the West End

Hannah Dodd is best known for playing Francesca Bridgerton in the hit Netflix series, while Madge (My Son’s a Queer (But What Can You Do?) ) is a seasoned stage performer.

Bridgerton star Hannah Dodd and Olivier Award nominee Rob Madge will star as the next Sally Bowles and The Emcee in Cabaret at the Kit Kat Club in the West End. They join the show from 29 May.

Dodd, who makes her West End debut in Cabaret, is best known for playing Francesca Bridgerton in the hit Netflix series and is currently filming season four, while Madge is a seasoned stage performer, having recently starred in the London Palladium's Christmas pantomime. Their one-person show My Son’s a Queer (But What Can You Do?) had sell-out runs at the Turbine Theatre, Edinburgh Festival, before heading to the West End.

The pair join Daniel Bowerbank as Clifford Bradshaw, Vivien Parry as Fraulein Schneider, Fenton Gray as Herr Schultz, Fred Haig as Ernst Ludwig, and Jessica Kirton as Fraulein Kost/Fritzie.

The cast is completed by Xenoa Campbell-Ledgister, Sam Darius, Damon Gould Adrian Grove, El Haq Latief, Justin-Lee Jones, Ela Lisondra, Hícaro Nicolai, Andy Rees Alexandra Regan, Marina Tavolieri, Ben Simon Wilson, Anne-Marie Wojna, Patrick Wilden, and Lucy Young.

Rob Madge and Hannah Dodd’s final performance will be Saturday 20 September 2025.

Rebecca Frecknall's production of Cabaret opened in the West End in 2021. John Kander, Fred Ebb, and Joe Masteroff's musical has set and costume design by Tom Scutt, choreography by Julia Cheng, musical supervision by Jennifer Whyte, musical direction by Ben van Tienen, lighting design by Isabella Byrd, sound design by Nick Lidster, wigs and hair design by Sam Cox, and make-up design by Guy Common.

Currently leading the show are Billy Porter as The Emcee and Marisha Wallace as Sally Bowles. They continue in the show until 24 May 2025.
