‘Horrible Histories - Terrible Tudors’ to return to the West End

The popular family-friendly history show all about Britain during the Tudor period will run at the Garrick Theatre this summer.

Go back to Tudor Britain with Horrible Histories - Terrible Tudors this summer. The show plays at the Garrick Theatre this summer, with previews from 27 July, ahead of anSeptember opening on 1 August, and performances to 2 Septeber.

The Horrible Histories - Terrible Tudors play sees audiences up close with Elizabeth I, Mary Queen of Scots, and Henry VIII. Press material states: “From the horrible Henries to the end of evil Elizabeth, hear the legends (and the lies!) about the torturing Tudors. It’s history with the nasty bits left in!”

“Our 2022 run of Terrible Tudors was the most successful Horrible Histories season we have had in the West End, so we’re delighted to be back for our twelfth year with our most popular show so far,” said Neal Foster, director and Actor/Manager of Birmingham Stage Company.

The show features design by Jacqueline Trousdale, lighting by Jason Taylor, music by Matthew Scott, sound by Nick Sagar, and choreography by Kenn Oldfield.
