Florian Zeller's comedy The Truth will return to London next year, following a run in the West End this summer. The limited 12-week run will begin at Theatre Royal Haymarket on 29 July 2027.

Returning to the production are Stephen Mangan (The Split, Episodes), Ardal O’Hanlon (Father Ted, How To Get To Heaven From Belfast), Sarah Hadland (Miranda, Strictly Come Dancing, The Job Lot) and double Olivier Award winner Janie Dee.

Directed by Lindsay Posner and written by Academy Award winner and Olivier nominee Florian Zeller, with a translation by Christopher Hampton, The Truth follows two intertwined couples whose loyalty to one another is thrown into question.

In a review from this year's run, our critic said: "The invaluable Janie Dee shifts moods on a dime in a final face-off with Michel in which her psychic terror gives way to tears. Stephen Mangan, by contrast, is an outsized solipsist who seems tailor-made for a post-truth era."

The creative team also includes Set and Costume design by Lizzie Clachan, Lighting Design by Richard Howell, and Sound Design by Adam Cork.

Producer Simon Friend said: “The Truth was a sell-out sensation over its run at the Apollo Theatre, which finished a few weeks ago, and our magnificent cast had such fun with Florian's comic masterpiece that they’re reuniting to bring more gales of laughter to the West End. We’re enormously grateful to Len Blavatnik and Danny Cohen for welcoming the show into the Theatre Royal Haymarket for another season next year before heading out across the country.”
