Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat will now begin performances on 1st July 2021, ahead of an official opening night on 15th July 2021. The musical will run for 10 weeks to 5th September 2021. Jac Yarrow will reprise his performance as the titular brother, while Jason Donovan, also cast in this summer's production, reprises the role of the Pharaoh.

Andrew Lloyd Webber and Tim Rice's musical enjoyed a revival at the Palladium in 2019, with the production nominated for best musical revival at the 2020 Olivier Awards. Yarrow also earned his first Olivier nomination for best actor in a musical.

In a review for LondonTheatre.co.uk, Mark Shenton looked towards a bright, reinvigorated future for the musical, saying: "This Joseph is all go, go, go... I wouldn't be at all surprised to see it returning as a summer staple in future years."
