‘Killing The Cat’ musical to open at Riverside Studios

The world premiere will run at the off-West End venue in spring 2023.

A new romantic musical, Killing The Cat, will open in London this spring. Killing The Cat begins previews at Riverside Studios on 17 March, with an opening night on 22 March, and performances to 22 April.

The musical follows two single individuals who try to make a relationship work. But as they learn they’re polar opposites, lust and love must work overtime to keep them together.

Killing The Cat features an original book and lyrics by Warner Brown, with music by Joshua Schmidt. Jenny Eastop directs Madalena Alberto, Tim Rogers, Molly Lynch, Kluane Saunders, and Joaquin Pedro Valdes.

The show will feature movement by Lucie Pankhurst, set and costume design by Lee Newby, lighting design by Jamie Platt, and sound design by Oscar Cotran.
