Maggie Siff will star as Joy Davidman in William Nicholson’s Shadowlands in the West End. She joins Hugh Bonneville in the production at London’s Aldwych Theatre next February.
Best known for Mad Men, Sons of Anarchy, and Billions, Siff will play the spirited American poet, who transforms the life of writer C.S. Lewis, creator of The Chronicles of Narnia series.
The production, which is based on a true story, was originally seen at Chichester Festival Theatre in 2019 and directed by Rachel Kavanaugh.
The rest of the creative team includes design by Peter McKintosh, lighting designs by Howard Harrison, and sound design by Fergus O’Hare.
