You can-can-can see Moulin Rouge! The Musical this summer. The musical continues at the Piccadilly Theatre, with more performances added through 22 July 2023.

Inspired by the 2001 Baz Luhrmann film of the same name, Moulin Rouge! The Musical follows an American writer, Christian, who visits Paris for literary inspiration. While there, he falls in love with the club’s singing sensation, Satine. At the same time, the Duke of Monroth is vying for Satine's affection, and sparks fly in the Parisian cabaret.

In a four-star review for London Theatre, our critic said: "This, mon chérie, is an all-new, all-adrenaline rush of a show that leverages the movie's magic and adds the secret ingredient: theatrical magic."

Jamie Muscato and Melissa James play Christian and Satine. We chatted with the pair about playing the musical lovers.

Matt Rixon plays Harold Zidler, joined by Elia Lo Tauro as Santiago, Ben Richards as the Duke, Ian Carlyle as Toulouse-Lautrec, Amy Thornton as Nini, Tiago Dhondt Bamberger as Baby Doll, Hannah Jay-Allan as Arabia, and Elliotte Williams-N’Dure as La Chocolat.

As well as additional performances, Moulin Rouge! The Musical has also released two new images of the cast in action.
