The new cast of Witness for the Prosecution has been revealed, with the cast joining the production at London County Hall from 26 September. The show has also extended its booking period until 4 October, 2026.

Agatha Christie’s story was first published 100 years ago and Witness for the Prosecution has been resident at London Country Hall for eight years. The show places the audience directly inside the courtroom, as the case of Leonard Vole — accused of murder in cold blood — unfolds around them.

The new cast includes Charlie Preston, making his West End debut as Leonard Vole, opposite Lara Lemon (The Mousetrap, The Diary of Anne Frank) as Romaine Vole, Roger May (The Pitmen Painters, The Railway Children) as Sir Wilfrid Robarts QC, Graham Seed (The Archers) as Mr Mayhew, Christopher Saul (Oedipus) as Mr Justice Wainwright, and Tom Godwin (Tina!, Woman in Black) as Mr Myers QC.

The company is completed by Sahar Awad, William Bassoumba, Tuhin Chisti, Michael Fray, Caroline Guthrie, Sulin Hasso, Pena Iiyambo, Richard Keightley, Michael Otim-Okot, Sam Pay, Finn Torkington and Jn Young.

The production is directed by Lucy Bailey, designed by William Dudley, with lighting by Chris Davey and sound design by Mic Pool.
