New casting announced for 'Witness for the Prosecution'

Witness for the Prosecution follows the case of Leonard Vole, who is accused of murder in cold blood. The show plays out in a real-life courtroom setting at County Hall, with audience members even sitting in the jury box.

New casting has been announced for Agatha Christie’s *Witness for the Prosecution*, which continues performances at London County Hall. The show has also been extended through 19 September 2027.

The new cast includes Matthew McGivern (Hollyoaks) as Leonard Vole and Sophie Craig (I Love You, Now What?, Emmerdale) as Romaine Vole, who both make their West End debuts. They are joined by Jo Stone-Fewings (Coriolanus, The Winter’s Tale), who returns as Sir Wilfrid Robarts QC, Crispin Redman (Peggy For You, An Inspector Calls), who returns as Mr Mayhew, Jude Owusu (Othello, The Duchess) as Mr Myers QC, and David Shaw-Parker (The Winter’s Tale, Oedipus Rex) as Mr Justice Wainwright.

Sahar Awad, Philip Battley, William Baylis, Siobhan Bevan, Garon Akbar Clark, Michael Cusick, Anthony Ofoegdu, Sean Paul Jenkinson, Io Munro, Caroline Partridge, Tom Richardson, and Tristan Rivelle complete the company.

The new cast begins performances on 22 September.

The creative team also includes design by William Dudley, lighting by Chris Davey, and sound design by Mic Pool.
