UPDATE: New dates added on 20 April 2021

After the initial performance dates of Life of Pi were postponed, a new performance schedule has now been announced. Life of Pi will now open at the Wyndham's Theatre on 14 Nov. 2021, with performances to 9 Jan. 2022.

Based on Yann Martel's award-winning novel, Life of Pi follows Pi, a young Indian boy who survives a shipwreck. Left with just a Bengal tiger for company, the pair coexist on a lifeboat as they struggle to survive.

Life of Pi premiered at the Sheffield Crucible in 2019, winning four awards at the UK Theatre Awards. In a review from The Guardian, "It is a triumph of transformative stagecraft."

Hiran Abeysekera will reprise his acclaimed performance as Pi, joined by Mina Anwar as Ma, Sagar Arya as Pa, Tom Espiner as Father Martin/Commander Grant-Jones, Kirsten Foster as Lulu Chen, Raj Ghatak as Mamaji/Pandit-Ji, Sarah Kameela Impey as Rani, Syreeta Kumar as Mrs Biology/Zaida Khan, Habib Nasib Nader as Cook/Voice of Richard Parker and David K.S. Tse as Mr Okamoto.

Life of Pi also includes puppetry, designed by Finn Caldwell. Tom Larkin and Tommy Luther will be the Tiger Head, with Fred Davis, Daisy Franks as the Tiger Hind and Romina Hytten and Scarlet Wilderink as the Tiger Heart.

Life of Pi is now at the Wyndham's Theatre from 14 Nov. 2021 - 9 Jan. 2022.
