Prick Up Your Ears closes early 15 Nov 2009 at Comedy

Prick Up Your Ears, has posted early closing notices for 15 Nov 2009 at the Comedy Theatre.

The play opened at the Comedy Theatre on 30 Sep 2009, following previews from 17 Sep 2009 and was originally booking to 6 Dec 2009, but last month the booking period was reduced to 29 Nov 2009, after Matt Lucas withdraw from the production, following the death of his former civil partner Kevin McGee . Now it has been announced that Prick Up Your Ears will close 2 weeks earlier on 15 Nov 2009.

Directed by Daniel Kramer, the cast is now Con O'Neill (Kenneth Halliwell), Chris New (Joe Orton) & Gwen Taylor (Mrs Corden)

Tells the story behind the domestic life of RADA graduates, aspiring playwrights, and sometime lovers Joe Orton and Kenneth Halliwell, holed up in a tiny flat in Islington. After striking his famous lover to death, Halliwell went on to commit suicide.
