Saxon Court by Daniel Andersen - Southwark Playhouse

Made by Brick will present the world premiere of Saxon Court by Daniel Andersen at the Southwark Playhouse Little Space in south London from 19 November 2014 to 13 December, with an official opening on 24 November 2014.

The production is described as a "razor sharp satirical comedy" which is set to darken your Christmas. Set in the City at the height of the financial crisis, small-time businesswoman Donna Saxon of Saxon Court Financial Recruitment-to-Recruitment Services is facing problems on all fronts. Her business partner has got cancer; her gold-plated golf clubs haven't arrived; and her useless staff seem blissfully unaware that the company is about to go under.

Saxon Court is directed by Melanie Spencer, and features lighting design by Katharine Graham and costume by Alice Woodward. The play marks writer Daniel Andersen's professional debut.
