The television show Spitting Image will be adapted into a West End show in 2022. Details on Spitting Image performances, as well as a West End venue and casting are to be revealed.

Based on the 1984 original series, Spitting Image reflects on recent news in a satirical manner, using puppet caricatures. Spitting Image was revived in 2020, and a Christmas Eve special is scheduled for 10pm this Friday. Since the show first aired, hundreds of puppets have been created, including Phoebe Waller-Bridge, Olivia Colman, Adele, James Corden, and a Covid-19 puppet.

Speaking about Spitting Image in the West End, co-creator Roger Law said: "We can't give too much away at this time, possibly because we're still writing it, however, unlike Boris, we will deliver with no shortcuts."

Spitting Image voice artists include Debra Stephenson, Indira Varma, Jess Robinson, Luke Kempner, and Matt Forde. New puppets and scenes are created as close to the episode airing as possible.
