‘The Da Vinci Code’ UK tour to star Nigel Harman and Danny John-Jules

The tour will begin in Bromley next year.

The world premiere of The Da Vinci Code on stage will begin its tour next year. Casting for early venues in the tour has also been revealed too, with Nigel Harman and Danny John-Jules leading the company.

Speaking about The Da Vinci Code, producer Simon Friend said: "With Dan Brown's full endorsement of the show, we're confident that we'll please devoted fans as well as newcomers to this magnificent story. Dan Brown's epic thriller has been read by millions worldwide, and seen by millions worldwide on the big screen, and we are all looking forward to taking our brand new stage version to audiences all over the UK."

The Da Vinci Code is based on Dan Brown's 2003 novel of the same name, which follows professor Robert Langdon and cryptologist Sophie Neveu solve riddles through the streets of Europe. 

The Olivier Award-winning actor Nigel Harman will play Robert Langdon in The Da Vinci Code. In the West End, Harman has starred in Glengarry Glen Ross and Three Days of Rain, starring James McAvoyRed Dwarf and Death in Paradise's Danny John-Jules will play Sir Leigh Teabing, joined by Hannah Rose Caton as Sophie Neveu.  The cast is completed by Basiena Blake, Alasdair Buchan, Joshua Lacy, Leigh Lothian, Andrew Lewis and Debra Michaels.

This is he The Da Vinci Code cast for performances from 10 January - 26 April. Further casting for future dates, including performances at the Richmond Theatre in May 2022, is to be revealed. 

The Da Vinci Code is adapted for the stage by Rachel Wagstaff and Duncan Abel. Luke Sheppard directs, with scenic and costume design by David Woodhead, lighting design by Lizzie Powell and sound design by Ben and Max Ringham. 

The Da Vinci Code begins a national tour in January 2022.
