'The Lightning Thief: The Percy Jackson Musical' announces new closing date
Based on the best-selling book series by Rick Riordan, The Lightning Thief tells the story of teenager Percy Jackson, who discovers that he is the half-blood son of the Greek god, Poseidon.
The Lightning Thief: The Percy Jackson Musical will close early at The Other Palace in London. The show will now run through 15 June and begins a UK tour this August.
Based on the best-selling book series by Rick Riordan, The Lightning Thief tells the story of teenager Percy Jackson, who discovers that he is the half-blood son of the Greek god, Poseidon. Set on an adventure with two newfound friends, all while trying to control his new powers, Percy finds out what it means to be a hero.
The London cast includes Morgan Gregory as Percy Jackson, Lizzy-Rose Esin-Kelly as Annabeth, Angus Benstead as Grover, Paisley Billings as Sally Jackson/Medusa, Jazz Evans as Mr Brunner/Poseidon/Hades, Joshua Lay as Mr D, Kenedy Small as Clarisse, Xander Pang as Luke/Ares with Philip Catchpole, Owen Lloyd, Rachel Moran, and Alex Waxman in the ensemble.
