‘Tina the Musical’ to return to Aldwych Theatre in 2021
A West End reopening date has been set for 3 June 2021.

The West End reopening date for Tina the Musical has been announced. Performances will resume at the Aldwych Theatre from 3 June 2021, continuing the musical’s West End run, with Tina the Musical tickets on sale now.
In a tweet from the production, Tina the Musical will return in June 2021, subject to easing restrictions regarding the Coronavirus pandemic.
Chronicling the life of vocal legend Tina Turner, the musical includes her greatest hits including “Proud Mary”, “River Deep Mountain High” and “(Simply) The Best”. The musical opened at the Aldwych Theatre in 2018, and was nominated for three Olivier Awards including Best New Musical. Find out more about Tina the Musical with our London Theatre guide.
Casting for the reopening of Tina the Musical is to be announced. Prior to the first shutdown of West End theatres in March 2020, the cast included Aisha Jawando as Tina Turner, Jammy Kasongo as Ike Turner, Joe Evans as Phil Spector / Terry Britten, Irene Myrtle Forrester as Gran Georgeanna, Francesca Jackson as Rhonda Graam, Rhianne-Louise McCaulsky as Alline Bullock, Matt Mills as Richard Bullock, Posi Morakinyo as Raymond Hill, Garmon Rhys Roger Davies, Joseph Richardson as Erwin Bach and Lucy Vardi as Zelma.
Tina the Musical is at the Aldwych Theatre from 3 June.
