Be transported to the Scottish Highlands when fighter pilots Tommy and Jeff crash-landed and are seeking a way home. They stumble upon the mystical village of Brigadoon, a dreamline village that isn't quite what is seems. In Brigadoon, sisters Fiona and Jean are preparing for a wedding. The pilots and sisters connect, but is love possible in a place that isn't what it seems at first glance?
Brigadoon is a play with book and lyrics by Alan Jay Lerner and music by Frederick Loewe. This exciting new staging is adapted by Evening Standard Award-winning playwright Rona Munro (The James Plays). Olivier Award winner Drew McOnie (Jesus Christ Superstar) is the play's director and choreographer.
McOnie said, "I'm thrilled to be directing this brilliant cast in my first season as Artistic Director of Regent's Park Open Air Theatre. I can't wait to work with this talented group of artists to bring Brigadoon back to the London stage after a 35-year absence, transporting audiences from Regent's Park to the Scottish Highlands."
Brigadoon in London stars Danielle Fiamanya, Louis Gaunt, Jasmine Jules Andrews, Edward Baruwa, Norman Bowman, Chrissy Brooke, Cavan Clarke, David Colvin, Gilli Jones, Anne Lacey, Nic Myers, and Danny Nattrass.
