This summer, the classic Stephen Sondheim musical Company will open at the Gielgud Theatre in the West End, in a revival quite unlike any other seen before.

Written as a male, for the first time, the main character Bobby will be portrayed as a woman, Bobbi, after director Marianne Elliott sought permission from the writer himself.

Rosalie Craig is the actress who will be taking the on the task of playing Bobbi, and she will be joined at the Gielgud - where she is currently performing in The Ferryman - by Broadway legend Patti LuPone, and TV host Mel Giedroyc.

We spoke to Craig about Company, what it's about and what it means in 2018, and were also treated to a performance of the song "Being Alive" from the musical.

Company is at the Gielgud Theatre from 29th September.

Company Tickets are available now.
