A Slice of Saturday Night at Upstairs at Gatehouse 16 Dec

Ovation presents A Slice of Saturday Night, by The Heather Brothers, at Upstairs at the Gatehouse Theatre, Highgate, north London, from 16 Dec 2010 to 30 Jan 2011.

Directed by John Plews, designed by Piera Lizzeri, lighting by Howard Hudson, choreography by Racky Plews, costumes by Annie Russell, sound by Aaron Buck, musical director Tim Jackson.

Cast includes Jason Griffiths, Jon Hawkins, Adam Pettigrew, Robin Rayner, Stephanie Ticknell-smith, Nancy Hill, Nicola Mcquillan, Rossano Canzio, Lea Bourne.

It's Saturday night at the 'Club A-Go-Go' where the hems are high and the fringes low and the blokes and birds are on the pull. The songs are a nostalgic pastiche of sounds from the Sixties which tell a tale of young love and teenage dreams.
