Over the last year, Soho Theatre has broadcast comedy and cabaret streams, but the venue will relaunch its live theatre programming this summer. Amanda Wilkin's play Shedding A Skin will be presented at Soho Theatre from 17 June - 17 July.

Shedding A Skin focuses on the need to find kindness in unexpected places, seeking joy wherever you go. Speaking about her play, she said: "[I] wanted to create a universal story that was intrinsically hopeful and speaks to people no matter what gender, colour or age... I've spent a lot of time thinking about what I'd want to see when I go back to the theatre and I want belly laughs and to feel invigorated."

Wilkin's West End performing credits include Emilia at the Vaudeville Theatre. She was also a part of the Royal Court Theatre's Writer Group in 2017, and her play The Little Sob was presented at Sam Wanamaker Playhouse in 2019.

Shedding A Skin won the 2020 Verity Bargate Award, judged by the likes of Fleabag's Phoebe Waller-Bridge, Russell T Davies, Lolita Chakrabati and Laura Wade. Future shows at Soho Theatre are to be announced.

Shedding A Skin is at Soho Theatre from 17 June to 17 July.
