Andrew Barth Feldman to star in new musical 'Nero' in London

Feldman stars as Roman emperor Nero in a musical that reimagines one of history's most notorious figures for a modern age.

Andrew Barth Feldman will star in new musical Nero, written by Steven Sater and Duncan Sheik, which begins performances at Southwark Playhouse Elephant on 2 November, running through 5 December.

Feldman, known for Dear Evan Hansen on Broadway and starring opposite Jennifer Lawrence in No Hard Feelings, stars as Roman emperor Nero in a musical that reimagines one of history's most notorious figures for a modern age.

The musical is brought to London by the award-winning creators of Spring Awakening, with direction by A View from the Bridge and Noises Off director Lindsay Posner.

The rest of the creative team includes choreographer James Cousins, musical supervisor and vocal arranger Phil Bateman, musical director Ben McQuigg, designer Georgia Lowe, lighting designer Robbie Butler, and sound designer Tony Gayle.
