As Is transfers to Trafalgar Studios 2 from 1 July 2015

Arion Productions Ltd will present As Is, by William M. Hoffman, at Trafalgar Studios 2 from 1 July to 1 August 2015, with an official opening on 3 July. This follows a successful run at the Finborough Theatre in south west London in 2013.

The production, which will feature a new cast and design, will be directed by Andrew Keates, with set design by Tim McQuillen-Wright, costumes by Philippa Batt and Tobias Fairclough, lighting by Neill Brinkworth and sound by James Nicholson. The musical score is by James Nicholson. Cast includes Steven Webb (Rich), David Poynor (Saul), Natalie Burt, Bevan Celestine, Giles Cooper, Dino Fetscher, Jane Lowe and Russell Morton.

Synopsis: "New York City, 1985. Rich, a young writer who is beginning to find success, is breaking up with his longtime lover, Saul, a professional photographer. However, Rich's idyll with his new lover is short-lived when he learns that he has contracted the terrifying new disease AIDS and he returns to Saul for sanctuary as he awaits its slow and awful progress."

Steven Webb is best known for his roles in 'House of Boys', 'The Inbetweeners' and 'Betwixt'. He will be reinited with David Poynor after they previously appeared together in 'The History Boys' at the Royal National Theatre in 2006/07.
