Being Shakespeare, by Jonathan Bate, returns to the Trafalgar Studios 1 Theatre from 07 Mar 2012 - 31 Mar 2012, starring Simon Callow. (It was last in the West End in June/July 2011)

Directed by Tom Cairns, lighting by Bruno Poet, sound and music by Ben and Max Ringham, produced by Ambassador Theatre Group, Act Productions, and Robert Bartner and Norman Tulchin.

Simon Callow's extensive theatre credits include A Christmas Carol, The Mystery of Charles Dickens, Twelfth Night and Waiting for Godot. His film and TV credits include Four Weddings and a Funeral, Shakespeare in Love and Doctor Who.

In Being Shakespeare, Simon Callow brings to life Shakespeare's unforgettable characters as well as the real man behind the legend.
