Being Shakespeare with Simon Callow back in West End

Being Shakespeare by Jonathan Bate, directed by Tom Cairns, at the Harold Pinter Theatre, from 26 Feb to 15 March 2014. The play enjoyed a previous run at the Trafalgar Studios 1 Theatre in 2011-2012.

Simon Callow brings to life Shakespeare's characters and the real man behind the legend in this one-man show.

Simon Callow's London stage credits include: "The Mystery of Charles Dickens" at the Playhouse Theatre in 2012, "Twelfth Night" at the Cottesloe, NT in 2011; "Waiting For Godot" at the Haymarket in 2009; "The Woman in White" at the Palace in 2005; "The Holy Terror" at the Duke of York's in 2004; "Through The Leaves" at the Duchess in 2003; "The Mystery of Charles Dickens" at the Comedy & Albery Theatres in 2000 & 2002; "The Importance of Being Oscar " at the Savoy in 1996; "The Alchemist" at the Olivier, NT in 1996.
