Katalyst Productions present Character, by Florence Vincent, directed by Rachel Creeger, at the Lounge at Leicester Square Theatre from 16 to 20 September 2014.
The play is a dark comedy about two women trying to grow up and in the process, keep their friendship alive. Michelle is about to turn forty and is desperate to finish her first novel before the big day arrives. Retreating to a countryside cottage, she invites her oldest friend, Freya to join her to help get the book finished, only to discover that Freya is harbouring problems of her own.
Newly formed Katalyst Productions's aim is to create exciting new writing, with 'dynamic' female characters, by female playwrights. The production company comprises of Kat Ann Rogers and Liz Hammond.
