'Christmas Carol Goes Wrong' returns for limited West End run

Christmas Carol Goes Wrong follows The Cornley Amateur Drama Society as they attempt to stage Charles Dickens’ classic tale A Christmas Carol.

Mischief's Christmas show Christmas Carol Goes Wrong will return to the West End for a limited run this festive season. Performances will begin at Wyndham’s Theatre on 18 December running through 23 January 2027.

Written by original Mischief Members Henry Lewis, Jonathan Sayer and Henry Shields, and directed by Matt DiCarlo, Christmas Carol Goes Wrong follows The Cornley Amateur Drama Society as they attempt to stage Charles Dickens’ classic tale A Christmas Carol.

The creative team also includes Libby Todd (set designer), Roberto Surace (costume designer), David Howe (lighting designer) and Alexandra Faye Braithwaite (sound designer and composer).

The cast is yet to be announced.

The show will also go on a UK tour, which begins at the Churchill Theatre in Bromley on 27 October and continues around the country until 27 February 2027. Its North American premiere will be at the Ahmanson Theatre in Downtown Los Angeles with performances beginning on 12 December, running until 10 January 2027. The show will also play in Australia from 1 – 29 December, with venues yet to be announced.
