Daniel Kaluuya, James Corden, and Milly Alcock among 'ECHO' performers at Royal Court

Daniel Kaluuya, James Corden, and Milly Alcock will be among the performers to star in Nassim Soleimanpour’s ECHO (Every Cold-Hearted Oxygen) at the Royal Court next month.

The show, which premiered at the venue in 2024, sees a different performer take to the stage for each show, with no rehearsal time and no idea what will happen next. Soleimanpour is known for his experimental theatre, including White Rabbit, Red Rabbit, which ran @sohoplace last year.

Directed by Omar Elerian (Rhinoceros, Misty, two Palestinians go dogging), the show will also star Reece Shearsmith (Inside No.9) on 27 June; Dominic West (The Affair) on 1 July; Lolly Adefope (Ghosts) on 2 July; Nish Kumar (The Mash Report) at 2.30pm on 3 July; Mel Giedroyc (The Great British Bake Off) on 4 July; Simon McBurney (Nosferatu) at 1.30pm on 5 July; and Juliet Stevenson (Reawakening) at 6.30pm on 5 July, with a final guest performer to be announced.

Kaluuya (Get Out) will perform at 6.30pm on 28 June; Corden (Gavin and Stacey) on 30 June; and Alcock (House of The Dragon) at 7.30pm on 3 July.

The creative team includes Creative Technologist, Video and Production Designer Derek Richards, Lighting Designer Jackie Shemesh, Composer and Sound Designer Anna Clock, Dramaturgy by Kirsty Housley, Dramaturgy and Creative Producer Immanuel Bartz, and Script Editor Stewart Pringle.
