Today's going to be a good day, and here's why. Dear Evan Hansen has announced an extended booking period in the West End. Dear Evan Hansen will run at the Noël Coward Theatre to 22 October, and Dear Evan Hansen tickets are on sale now.

Dear Evan Hansen follows Evan Hansen, an awkward teenager who suddenly finds himself in the "in-crowd" at high school. Dear Evan Hansen won three Olivier Awards in 2020, including Best New Musical, and a Dear Evan Hansen film was released last year.

Sam Tutty plays Evan Hansen, a role that earned Tutty an Olivier Award for Best Actor in a Musical. The Dear Evan Hansen cast includes Lucy Anderson as Zoe Murphy, Doug Colling as Connor Murphy, Jack Loxton as Jared Kleinman, Rebecca McKinnis as Heidi Hansen, Lauren Ward as Cynthia Murphy, Rupert Young as Larry Murphy, and Iona Fraser as Alana Beck. Marcus Harman plays Evan Hansen at certain performances.

The cast is completed by Tricia Adele-Turner, Haydn Cox, Ellis Kirk, Hannah Lindsey, Samantha Mbolekwa, Mark Peachey, Hannah Qureshi, James Winter, and Mitchell Zhangazha.

In a Dear Evan Hansen review for London Theatre, our critic said: "It's not just a musical for the social media age... Benj Pasek and Justin Paul's beautiful score... has integrity and depth that matches the story they have to tell."

Dear Evan Hansen features a book by Steven Levenson, a score by Benj Pasek and Justin Paul, and direction by Michael Greif. Dear Evan Hansen choreography is by Danny Mefford, with scenic design by David Korins, costume design by Emily Rebholz, lighting design by Japhy Weideman, and sound design by Nevin Steinberg.
