‘Everybody’s Talking About Jamie’ to return to the West End in 2024

The five-time Olivier-nominated musical about a teenage boy stepping into the spotlight will return to London, with previous cast members reprising their roles.

Are you ready to see this work of art? As part of a nationwide tour, Everybody’s Talking About Jamie will return to the West End, with performances at the Peacock Theatre from 8 February to 23 Mar. 2024.

Based on a BBC documentary, Everybody’s Talking About Jamie follows Jamie New, a 16-year-old boy who dreams of wearing a prom dress to his high school prom. The musical ran for four years at the Apollo Theatre, earning five Olivier nominations including Best Musical.

Ivano Turco will play Jamie New, joined by John Partridge as Hugo/Loco Channelle, Talia Palamathanan as Pritti, and returning cast members Rebecca McKinnis as Margaret New, and Shobna Gulati as Ray.

Tom MacRae writes the book, with a score by Dan Gillespie Sells, choreography by Kate Prince, direction by Matt Ryan, design by Anna Fleischle, lighting design by Lucy Carter, and sound design by Paul Groothuis.

Everybody's Talking About Jamie is in London in 2024. The musical will play for seven weeks at the Peacock Theatre, running from 9 February to 13 Mar. 2024.
