In spring 2027, Secret Cinema embarks on its most swashbuckling adventure yet when it presents Disney’s Pirates of the Caribbean: The Curse of the Black Pearl in its inimitable immersive style. This adventurous favourite from 2003, starring Johnny Depp, Orlando Bloom, Keira Knightley, and Geoffrey Rush, will be more thrilling than ever with an extravaganza of live swashbuckling stunts, dazzling special effects, and a cinematic-scale immersive world.
Even more excitingly, it will be performed at Secret Cinema’s brand-new purpose-built venue in Greenwich Peninsula, a short distance from North Greenwich station with a Thameside setting. The waterside backdrop with its rich maritime history couldn’t be more apt for this production.

What is Secret Cinema?
Secret Cinema is an entertainment company founded in 2007 that specialises in immersive film and television-based events. It’s far more than a film screening, as it blends screen and live action in a unique experience. Audiences are encouraged to dress up, theme refreshments are available, and there are all sorts of supplementary activities and attractions. Previous offerings have included Back to the Future, Star Wars: The Empire Strikes Back, Dirty Dancing, and Moulin Rouge! This summer, Secret Cinema presents Grease: The Immersive Movie Musical in Battersea Park, set in a purpose-built American-style fairground and diner. Performances take place from Tuesday to Sunday with performances at 7:30 from Tuesday to Saturday, with a matinee at 2:30pm on Saturday, and Sunday performances at 12:30pm and 5:30pm.

All General Admission tickets are standing. All seating tickets have a dedicated seat for you to roam and return to.
How long is Secret Cinema presents Disney's Pirates of the Caribbean: The Immersive Adventure?
The performance lasts for approximately 2hrs 15mins.
Although there is no official interval in the experience, there are dedicated free-roam acts where you are free to explore the world, grab some food and drinks, or take a break. The world will be open up to 1 hour before the start of the performance.
Is there any intense/strobe lighting?
There are prolonged periods of intense strobe lighting. If you need to know when the strobe lighting occurs, please make yourself known to a member of staff upon arrival to make sure you have all the information you need.
Is the show suitable for neurodiverse audience members?
The show will contain loud music and some loud noises, periods of darkness, flashing lights, theatrical smoke/haze and crowds.
