The complete casting for the Fiddler on the Roof at the Playhouse Theatre has been announced, transferring from the Menier Chocolate Factory to the West End.

Andy Nyman will reprise his performance as Tevye, with previous stage credits including Assassins and Abigail's Party, as well as co-writing Ghost Stories, which will soon be performed at Lyric Hammersmith.

The award-winning Judy Kuhn will also reprise her performance as Golde, with recent credits including Funny Girl, Sunset Boulevard and her performance as Helen Bechdel in Fun Home on Broadway, which earned her a Tony Award nomination for best actress in a musical.

Nyman and Kuhn are joined by Nicola Brown as Chava, Harriet Bunton as Hodel, Dermot Canavan as Lazar Wolf, Stewart Clarke as Perchik, Joshua Gannon as Motel, Matthew Hawksley as Fyedka, Louise Gold as Yente and Molly Osborne as Tzeitel.

The cast is completed by Miles Barrow, Sofia Bennett, Philip Bertioli, Lottie Casserley, Elena Cervesi, Lia Cohen, Talia Etherington, Shoshana Ezequiel, Isabella Foat, Fenton Gray, James Hameed, Adam Linstead, Adam Margilewski, Robert Maskell, Benny Maslov, Robyn McIntyre, Gaynor Miles, Ellie Mullane, Tania Newton, Craig Pinder, Valentina Theodoulou and Ed Wade.

Set at the turn of the 1905 Russian Revolution, Fiddler on the Roof follows Tevye and his daughters, as their unexpected choice of husbands opens the previously close-knit community they live in. The musical features iconic songs including "Tradition" and "Sunrise, Sunset".

Trevor Nunn directs the production. In a recent interview with Mark Shenton, Nunn commented that one of the luckiest moments to have happened over his career was "to become friends with Joseph Stein, who wrote Fiddler on the Roof".

Fiddler on the Roof is at the Playhouse Theatre from 21st March.
