Caryl Churchill's 'Triumph' to premiere at the Almeida Theatre

Drawing on on Suetonius’s The Twelve Caesars, the play will follow Press Secretary Iris as she falls for a reporter.

Caryl Churchill will premiere her new play Triumph at the Almeida Theatre in London this October. The limited run will take place from 16-23 October.

Directed by Olivier Award winner James Macdonald (Christmas Day, Waiting for Godot), the 15-minute play will star Tony Award nominee Matthew Beard (The Testament of Ann Lee) and Emmy Award winner Kate O’Flynn (Widow’s Bay).
