Ahead of performances beginning next month, the full cast and creative team for the upcoming revival of Samuel Beckett's Happy Days has been named. Happy Days is at Riverside Studios from 11 June - 25 July, with the production honouring the play's 60th anniversary.

As previously announced, Lisa Dwan will play Winnie, whose theatre credits include Beckett's The Beckett Trilogy and No's Knife. Simon Wolfe will play Willie, with London credits including War Horse at the National Theatre and Punk Rock at Lyric Hammersmith.

Trevor Nunn directs Happy Days, with recent directorial credits including the Olivier Award-winning revival of Fiddler on the Roof. Over his career of fifty years, he's directed Les Miserables, Cats and Starlight Express.

The creative team is completed by scenic design from Robert Jones, lighting design by Tim Mitchell, sound design by Johnny Edwards and costume design by Kate Hemstock.

Happy Days follows Winnie, a woman whose monotonous life leads her to believe good times are just around the corner. But doing the same thing day in, day out isn't always beneficial, especially when her husband's life is called into question.
