Ghosts - translation by Stephen Unwin - Rose Kingston

English Touring Theatre and Rose Theatre Kingston presents Ghosts, by Henrik Ibsen, in a new translation by Stephen Unwin, at the Rose Theatre Kingston, in south London, from 19 Sep to 12 Oct 2013, before touring nationwide to Salisbury, Oxford, Guildford, York, Watford and Malvern.

Directed by Stephen Unwin, with design by Simon Higlett and lighting design by Paul Pyant. They will take inspiration from an original design by the Norwegian artist Edvard Munch, famous for his painting 'The Scream'. This will be the first time the designs have been used since the 1906 production.

Oswald comes home from Paris to honour his dead father. He soon discovers that there is more to his mystery illness than he had bargained for. And his mother starts to feel the presence of the 'ghosts' of the past all around her. Only the truth can set them free.
