Henry IV Part 1 and 2 extend one week at Globe

Henry IV Part 1 and Part 2 have been extended by one week to 9 Oct 2010, at the Shakespeare Globe Theatre.

Both plays are directed by Dominic Dromgoole, and stars Roger Allam as Falstaff.

Shakespeare's Globe also plans to film these two plays in high definition as part of its commitment to capture its work on film.

In addition to Henry IV Parts 1 and 2, Shakespeare's Globe will also film Henry VIII and The Merry Wives of Windsor from its 2010 Kings and Rogues season. This filming provides the Globe's archive with the highest quality recording as well as presenting the opportunity to extend the reach of its work into cinemas, on DVD and online in the future.
