"Honour" with Diana Rigg at Wyndham's 7 Feb 2006

It is now confirmed that a new production of Joanna Murray-Smith's Honour, will open at the Wyndham's Theatre 14 Feb 2006, following previews from 7 Feb - running to 6 May 2006

The play had its UK premiere at the National's Cottesloe Theatre in 2003.

The cast includes Diana Rigg (Honor), Martin Jarvis (George), Natascha Mcelhone (Claudia), Georgina Rich (Sophie).

It is directed by David Grindley , designed by Liz Ascroft and produced by PW Productions, Matthew Gale, Jenny King and Steve Wilkinson.

'Honor' is happily married to 'George', a distinguished TV journalist, for who she abandoned a promising literary career. When 'Claudia', a young ambitious journalist arrives to interview him, the meeting precipitates a marital crisis that has both unexpected consequences and surprising resolutions for them and their grown up daughter 'Sophie'.

DIANA RIGG'S West End credits include "Suddenly Last Summer at the Albery in 2004; "Humble Boy" at the Cottesloe, NT in 2001; "Phedre" and "Britannicus" at the Albery in 1998, and "Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolf?" at the Aldwych in 1996; "Mother Courage and Her Children" at the Olivier, NT in 1995.
