Rehearsal images have been released showing Julian Clary and James Nelson-Joyce in Le Grand Mort, which runs at Trafalgar Studios later this month.

The play, which was written by Olivier Award-nominated playwright Stephen Clark for Clary, is about a dinner party encounter between two guests: Michael, played by Clary, and his younger guest Tim (Nelson-Joyce). Clark is known for his plays Martin Guerre, Zorro, Love Story and Stripped, which won him a Stephen Jefferson Award before he died last October at the age of 55.

Le Grand Mort will be directed by Christopher Renshaw with designs by Justin Nardella, lighting by Jamie Platt and sound by Edward Lewis. It is produced by Danielle Tarento.

The play runs at Trafalgar Studios from 20th September to 28th October.

Le Grand Mort Tickets are available now.
