Jon Brittain’s Rotterdam to return to London as part of UK tour
Jon Brittain's Olivier Award-winning play Rotterdam is set to embark on a UK tour which will include its return to London, it has been announced.
The play follows the story of a couple - Alice and Fiona. Alice is plucking up the courage to email her parents to tell them that she's gay, while Fiona reveals he has always identified as a male, and wants to begin living life as a man named Adrian.
Directed by Donnacadh O'Briain, the production won the Olivier Award for outstanding achievement in an affiliate theatre following its premiere at Theatre503 before it transferred to Trafalgar Studios. It will now begin its UK tour at Rose Theatre Kingston on 4th April 2019, before touring to Brighton, York, Leicester, Harlow, Exeter, Birmingham, Malvern, Guildford, Mold, Southampton and Eastbourne.
Casting for the touring production is yet to be announced. Previous productions have starred Anna Martine, Alice McCarthy, Ed Eales-White, and Jessica Clark.
