Murder mystery musical Kathy and Stella Solve A Murder! will transfer to the West End this May. The show will run for a strictly limited season at the Ambassadors Theatre.

Bronté Barbé (Newsies) and Rebekah Hinds (Oklahoma!) will reprise their roles as Kathy and Stella alongside Imelda Warren-Green (Doctor Who: Time Fracture) who will return as Erica.

The musical has book and lyrics by Jon Brittain (Rotterdam), who also co-directs, and music and lyrics by Matthew Floyd Jones. They previously collaborated on the Fringe First award-winning A Super Happy Story (About Feeling Super Sad). Olivier nominee Fabian Aloise (Sunset Boulevard) will co-direct and choreograph the production.

Kathy and Stella Solve A Murder! follows best friends Kathy and Stella, who host Hull's least successful true crime podcast. When their favourite author is killed, they are thrust into a thrilling whodunnit of their own.

Further casting is to be announced.

Kathy and Stella Solve A Murder! will run at the Ambassadors Theatre from 25 May – 14 September.
