Lyric Hammersmith announces Christmas 2022 programming

Jack and the Beanstalk will lead the season’s festive shows.

Get ready for Christmas show news this summer! Lyric Hammersmith Theatre has announced further details on their upcoming festive season of shows, including Jack and the Beanstalk and Father Christmas.

Jack and the Beanstalk will begin previews at Lyric Hammersmith on 19 November, ahead of an opening on 26 November, and performances to 7 Jan. 2023. Nicholai La Barrie directs Jack and the Beanstalk, which is co-written by Jude Christian and Sonia Jalaly.

Raymond Briggs’s Father Christmas will run concurrently with Jack and the Beanstalk, with performances from 23 November to 31 December. The family-friendly seasonal story follows Santa Claus as he prepares his Christmas Eve deliveries and takes flight.

Britannicus is at Lyric Hammersmith to 25 June. It’s then followed by Closer from 14 July to 13 August, and Heather from 29 September to 29 October.
