Mazz Murray sets final performance as Donna in 'Mamma Mia!'

Before playing Donna, Mazz Murray starred as Tanya in the ABBA-scored musical from 2015 to 2017. She was also a mentor on the ITV series Mamma Mia! I Have a Dream.

Mazz Murray will play her final performance as Donna Sheridan in Mamma Mia! on 4 October, having led the West End company in the role for the past six years.

Murray, whose other West End credits include We Will Rock You, Chicago, and Rent, will be succeeded by Sara Poyzer, who returns to the role of Donna from 6 October. Poyzer previously played the role for over 12 years across the UK, internationally and in the West End.

Before playing Donna, Murray starred as Tanya in the ABBA-scored musical from 2015 to 2017. She was also a mentor on the ITV series Mamma Mia! I Have a Dream.

The rest of the new principal cast has also been revealed, with Nicky Swift as Rosie, Richard Standing as Sam, Daniel Crowder as Harry, Tamlyn Henderson as Bill, Ellie Kingdon as Sophie, George Maddison as Sky, Chloe Gentles as Ali, Foxy Valentine as Lisa, Joshua de La-Garde as Eddie and Benjamin Dawson as Pepper. Kate Graham remains with the company as Tanya.
