New cast revealed for 'Mamma Mia!' in the West End

Sara Poyzer will return to the role of Donna, having previously played the role for over 12 years across the UK, internationally and in the West End.

The new cast has been revealed for Mamma Mia! in the West End, as the show also announces its booking period has been extended to 26 September, 2026. The new company begins performances on 6 October.

The new members of the London cast include Sara Poyzer as Donna, who previously played the role for over 12 years, Nicky Swift as Rosie, Richard Standing as Sam, Daniel Crowder as Harry, Tamlyn Henderson as Bill, Ellie Kingdon as Sophie, George Maddison as Sky, Chloe Gentles as Ali, Foxy Valentine as Lisa, Joshua de La-Garde as Eddie and Benjamin Dawson as Pepper. They will join Kate Graham, who remains with the company as Tanya, and Emma Odell, who moves from Ensemble to playing Donna at certain performances.

Also continuing in the cast are Franky Attard, Matthew Barrow, Jack Bromage, Maddy Cameron, Dennis Cousins, Andrew Gallo, Lawrence Guntert, Genevieve Jameson, Tom Parsons and Maisie Waller. They will be joined by Ella Beaumont, Joseph Craig, Josh Crowther, George Hinson, Laura Jayne-Hardie, Deena Kapadia, Matthew Mori, Meghan Peploe-Williams, Emily Squibb and Ria Turner.

Having celebrated its 26th birthday this year, Mamma Mia! is the third longest running West End musical of all time. Set on a Greek island, the ABBA-scored musical follows Lucy's search for her father on the eve of her wedding. But what happens when three potential candidates turn up?

Mamma Mia! has music and lyrics by Benny Andersson and Björn Ulvaeus, book by Catherine Johnson, direction by Phyllida Lloyd, and choreography by Anthony Van Laast. The production is designed by Mark Thompson, with lighting design by Howard Harrison, sound design by Andrew Bruce and Bobby Aitken, and musical supervision, additional material and arrangements by Martin Koch.
