
Mazz Murray to reprise role of Donna in ‘Mamma Mia!’ as full cast announced
'Mamma Mia!' will reopen at the Novello Theatre in August.
Following the news that the ABBA jukebox musical Mamma Mia! will reopen this summer, the full reopening cast has been announced. Mamma Mia! will resume performances at the Novello Theatre from 25 August, with Mamma Mia! tickets are on sale now. on sale now.
Mazz Murray will continue in the role of Donna, previously playing the role when theatres shut down in March 2020. Emma Mullen will make her West End debut as Sophie, previously starring in the UK and international tour of Mamma Mia! Richard Trinder plays Sam, with Neil Moors as Harry, Stephen Beckett as Bill, Sophie Matthew as Lisa, Josie Benson as Tanya, Gemma Goggin as Rosie, Jack Danson as Sky, Tegan Bannister as Ali, Michael Nelson as Eddie and Alexandros Beshonges as Pepper, Natalie Langston will play Donna at select performances.
The cast is completed by Natasha Agnew, Chloe Ames, Gemma Atkins, Chloe-Jo Byrnes, Nicole Carlisle, Angus Good, Natalie Jayne Hall, Lauren Hampton, James Humpleman, Morgan Jackson, Frankie Jones, Grace Moorhouse, Jodie Nolan, Dan O'Brien, George Olney, Michael Storrs, Kyle Turner, Michael Tyler, Simon Willmont and Alex Woodward.
When Mamma Mia! reopens this August, the musical will be in its 23rd year in London. Ahead of performances, producer Judy Craymer said: "We cannot wait to get the full theatrical experience of MAMMA MIA! back into the West End and what better way to leave lockdown than to be transported to our sunny Greek idyll. MAMMA MIA! has to be the perfect staycation destination."
Set to ABBA hits including "Dancing Queen" and Waterloo", Mamma Mia! Follows Sophie as she marries her fiance, Sky, while discovering who her actual father is. To date, Mamma Mia! has been staged in 50 productions in 16 languages.
