Niki Evans returns to the role of 'Mrs Johnstone' in Blood Brothers from 26 April, at the Phoenix Theatre

Niki Evans , who came fourth in the TV series X Factor in 2007, had earlier played 'Mrs Johnstone' from 3 Nov 2008 to 24 Oct 2009 at the Phoenix Theatre.

Blood Brothers is directed by Bob Tomson and Bill Kenwright. The design is by Marty Flood and the musical director is Rod Edwards.

Blood Brothers premiered in the West End in April 1983 at the Lyric Theatre and closed in October 1983. Bill Kenwright picked up the rights to the musical in 1987, and a re-vamped Blood Brothers and was revived at the Albery Theatre, in July 1988, before transferring to the Phoenix Theatre in November 1991, where it is currently taking bookings to 27 Nov 2010.

The story concerns a pair of twins from Liverpool who are separated at birth. Later in life their paths cross in friendship and anger.
