Pretty Woman: The Musical to open at the Piccadilly Theatre in February 2020
Following the previous announcement that Pretty Woman: The Musical will receive its West End premiere next year, it has been confirmed that the production will open at the Piccadilly Theatre in February 2020.
Pretty Woman: The Musical tickets will be exclusively available from 12 noon today on LondonTheatre.co.uk, before a general onsale on Friday 13th September. Pay no booking fee on preview performances from 14th February to 29th February 2020 with our exclusive offer, bookable by 12th September 2019.
Based on the 1990 film starring Julia Roberts and Richard Gere, the musical tells the story of a rich businessman who hires a Hollywood sex worker to accompany him to events in the city. The musical features original songs by Canadian singer-songwriter Bryan Adams including "Welcome to Hollywood" and "Rodeo Drive".
The musical opened on Broadway in 2018, starring Samantha Barks and Andy Karl. In a review for New York Theatre Guide, Sarah Downs said Barks is a 'leading lady with sparkling charm', while Karl 'has the kind of charisma money cannot buy'.
Pretty Woman: The Musical transfers to the Piccadilly Theatre from 14th February 2020 for a limited engagement of 46 weeks. Pretty Woman: The Musical tickets are available at LondonTheatre.co.uk from 12 noon.
