Production photos for Oslo at the National Theatre released
Production images have been released of the National Theatre's production of Oslo, which is set to open in the Lyttelton Theatre this week.
Directed by Bartlett Sher, JT Rogers Tony Award-winning play is about a couple who orchestrate secret talks between the State of Israel and the Palestine Liberation Organisation - these talks resulted in the Oslo Accords on 1993.
Rogers' play opened on Broadway at the Vivian Beaumont Theater in April of this year, and following a limited three-week run at the National, it will transfer to the West End in the Harold Pinter Theatre until December.
The play stars Toby Stephens (Private Lives) as role of social-scientist Terje Rød-Larsen, Lydia Leonard (Wolf Hall) as his wife, the diplomat Mona Juul and Peter Polycarpou (Working) as Ahmed Qurie, the former Prime Minister of the Palestinian National Authority.
The cast also includes Geraldine Alexander, Philip Arditti, Thomas Arnold, Nabil Elouahabi, Karoline Gable, Paul Herzberg, Jacob Krichefski, Yair Jonah Lotan, Anthony Shuster, Daniel Stewart and Howard Ward.
Oslo has set designs by Michael Yeargan, costumes by Catherine Zuber, lighting by Donald Holder, and projections by 59 Productions.
Oslo Tickets for the West End run at the Harold Pinter Theatre are available now.
