PRODUCTIONS EXPECTED AT THE NEW AMBASSADORS THEATRE NEXT YEAR

It is reported that future productions at the New Ambassadors include Berkoff's Women, by Steven Berkoff. This one-woman show starring Linda Marlowe includes a combination of tragic and comic scenes from several Berkoff's plays. It is expected in early February 01.

The World premiere of Conor McPherson's Port Authority is expected at the end of February 01. The play explores how three different generations of men face up to the responsibility of love. Conor McPherson's previous plays include The Weir, which has enjoyed success in both London and New York in recent years.

George Elliot's Mill on the Floss, adapted by Helen Edmundson, is expected in April 01. It is directed by Nancy Meckler and Polly Teale. The play tells the story of Maggie Tulliver's struggle against the conventions of Victorian society.
