Rob Houchen and Bradley Jaden to join cast of all-star Les Mis concert

Further casting has been announced for Les Miserables: All-Star Staged Concert to be staged at the Gielgud Theatre later this year.

Rob Houchen joins the cast as Marius, first appearing in Les Miserables as Marius in 2013. Soon to star in this summer's production of The Light in the Piazza at the Royal Festival Hall as Fabrizio Naccarelli, his recent theatre credits include Eugenius at The Other Palace and Titanic at the Charing Cross Theatre.

Bradley Jaden, who is currently playing Javert in Les Miserables at the Queen's Theatre will also appear in the production as Enjrolas. Previously playing Enjolras in Les Miserables in 2015, his previous theatre credits include Fiyero in Wicked, as well as starring in Shrek the Musical and a national tour of Ghost the Musical.

Houchen and Jaden join the previously announced line-up, including Alfie Boe as Jean Valjean, Michael Ball as Javert, Carrie Hope Fletcher as Fantine, Matt Lucas as Thenardier, Katy Secombe as Madame Thenardier and John Owen-Jones as Valjean for three performances a week.

Further casting for the production is to be announced.

Les Miserables: All-Star Staged Concert will play at the Gielgud Theatre for 16 weeks, while the Queen's Theatre undergoes refurbishment works.

Les Miserables has been performed at the Queen's since 2004 and is currently the longest-running musical in the West End. Playing a continuous run in London from 1985, the original production will run in the West End until 13th July. The Queen's Theatre will then reopen on 18th December with a new production, with performances currently scheduled to 4th April 2020.

Les Miserables: All-Star Staged Concert is at the Gielgud Theatre from 10th August to 30th November.
