Sarah Brightman to present ‘A Christmas Symphony’ livestream event

Andrew Lloyd Webber will join Brightman to perform "Christmas Dream".

The original Christine Daae in The Phantom of the Opera Sarah Brightman will headline a Christmas concert next month, it has been announced. Her event Sarah Brightman: A Christmas Symphony will be staged at Christ Church Spitalfields, available to watch on 20 December.

"Christmas is my favourite time of year. This year more than ever, we all need the joy, happiness and magic this season brings." said Sarah Brightman. Speaking of the concert: "A Christmas Symphony is my way to celebrate this special time with fans and music lovers everywhere. I have many fond memories of Christmas with my family and hope this special concert brings some new ones for you to share with yours."

For the concert, Brightman will perform hymns from the Christmas canon, including "I Believe In Father Christmas", "Silent Night" and "Ave Maria". She'll be joined by Aled Jones, as well as legendary composer Andrew Lloyd Webber for a new arrangement of "Christmas Dream".

Brightman has also partnered with The Global FoodBanking Network, with audience members encouraged to donate here.
